Hello everyone, this blog is the sequel to my earlier blog:
freakyfreminiatures. this time I will add more text with the pictures. A big difference compared to my older blog. that only looked like a photo album. (really there where only pictures!)
Another reason why I wanted to start all over again, is because that I like to see projects that get finished. That's why I opted for what i loved the most. And That's
history!I was brought up with movies like Ben-Hur and Spartacus. therefore it goes without saying that I will deal with Romans, gladiators and everything going on at that time.
here are some pictures of my gladiator army. I'm also working on a second unit and some freed slaves trowing bricks and javelings.
My Roman units will be 10 men strong, weaker units are bigger, but no more then 20 men. This way my units will be faster painted. A problem from the past. I painted 40 miniatures in one unit of gauls. Completly crazy if you like a lot of details on a model.
Models that I like the most are always in the front.
the ones with character.
the large base to carry the models around, is simply made of cardbord, sand and balsa.
some gladiators
I hope you all like it and leave a comment or advice to keep me motivated.
